Description of Sold Item - gone!

I sold an item today - in order to keep track of inventory, I keep a note in the description, but now the description is gone! That is problematic for my inventory system - help! Anyone else not seeing the description of their items when that item has sold?

Go to the Listings page, click on Sold Items. The descriptions are still there.

If you're on the shop view, scroll down. They have a test going, where descriptions are moved to the bottom of the page.

When I used to click on item details I could see all the details - description, weight etc..and now it's just blank.

Can you see your sold descriptions?

Also, sometimes you have to click a Details-> link to see the description and price.

I have looked everywhere on the item I just sold - nadda...I hope it's just a fluke! Appreciate the responses..anyone else having this issue? It's new to me.

I found the description of sold items by going to the order and clicking the title

@RainierEstates  I'm able to see the details of your sold listings. The most recent one has "Ref#Krft" at the bottom, which I assume is your inventory tracking

Maybe try in a different browser? I'm using Chrome. (When I use Firefox, I have to scroll down below the reviews to see the description)

You are probably in the current test where the description has been moved all the way to the bottom of the page, beneath reviews and buyer photos.  

If you go to sold items, click on the item, then click on "see details," then scroll down until you see "Learn more about this item," you should see the details.  Also, as a seller, once you have clicked on "see details" the listing should give you an option to copy or edit the listing (on Chrome, this is up on the left side of the top of the listing page).  You can cut/copy/paste from there if you need to from the listing description content.

I can see it, if it's the ring. Details are down below the reviews and other items you may want to buy. Copying ebays listing details disaster.

This is new - it wasn't like this a few days ago - any idea why they are doing this?

No clue why. I noticed the other day in Ebay, while looking at an item, there was no description. I had to scroll down past all the other item suggestions to find the details regarding the item I was looking at. They are copying Ebay's formats or vise versa. Either way they are a disaster to all, the seller and buyer and the platform.

This is absolutely crazy.   I thought it was bad before, but now it is next to impossible for anyone to find my descriptions.   People are already writing me and asking questions like "How many will I receive?"   I couldn't figure out why.   Now I know.   I do not see this ending well.

It would be very interesting if someone from Etsy chimed in here to explain the rational behind the change..makes little sense to me.
