My customers are always emailing me to ask questions about items.
Every bit of information about my items is in the descriptions for each and every item in my shop.
Please please please can Etsy move the description underneath the items (how it used to be). The detailed descriptions are of paramount importance yet they are placed to the right hand side and customers have to click to be able to scroll down and see the details, this is ridiculous.
Etsy is not making the customer shopping experience a smooth flowing one....I get customers saying things like : "I am trying to find the description but I can't find it". So not only are they having difficulty in finding the description, they then have to go to the trouble of emailing the seller, the seller then has to go to the trouble of emailing back etc etc. This could also lead shops to lose sales because most customers don't want to bothered with emails (and I don't blame them) so they will inevitably go elsewhere.
Seriously Etsy, the basic fundamentals of good selling practice is to enable customers to see the descriptions easily
We do not need the shop reviews to be under the photos, customers can find the reviews on our home page if they want to!!
The description has been on the right for at least 4 years. Etsy uses the space under for reviews,
I'm used to the reviews as they have been for the past several years. I would think many buyers since they use other sites that place their descriptions differently too would look to find the description.
I seldom have buyers message me about questions. When I do descriptions I make it as concise as I can with spaces so it is easier to read. I limit paragraphs to 3 sentences. And I separate out anything that I think is important like size in its own paragraph.
If I may I would add a ruler or something to the some of the photos and perhaps use the video portion.
(Just a heads up I would add the GDPR and right of withdrawal plus the return needs to be 28 days (Etsy only has 30 so 30 it needs to be))
