Hi anyone else had this problem? 25 images posted to facebook from etsy was getting immediate response averaging 10 views per image.
Now the only views are from me posting to my fb page and not etsy.
Etsy say there is nothing wrong, but there is a problem, immediate views don.t just stop for no reason.
Any help would be welcome.
Evidently people are not clicking. I don't understand what you mean by "dashboard not working"
Evidently Etsy had a Problem, which seems to be working took 3 weeks to sort.
@StudioPhotoPrint For one thing, anecdotal evidence is that Etsy stats are notoriously unreliable. If you have Google analytics attached to your store that is much more reliable. And as asked above, could you be more specific as to what is not working? And does this problem occur using an Etsy app or via browser (it makes a difference as to possible causes and potential solutions, otherwise we have to guess).
Hi, via browser. Problem started a few weeks ago,I posted regular to facebook up to 4 or 5 times a day. When I posted all 25 latest Images I would get an immediate response to my dashboard averaging 180-250 views. This then went lower when views turned to visits.
But for the past few weeks nothing at all, no matter how many times I post or at what time of the day. The first etsy customer care operator said there was a problem but he didn't know what it was.I have reset all my facebook meta data tags but nothing
Stats on Etsy are not real time. The views have to be run through the system to remove bots. The views is what counts.
If you can use Google analytics, use Google.
Etsy stats are good for the long haul not for daily I find.
Thanks for your help, seems to be better today
Thank you for replying
So, the problem is actually that you are no longer getting views from Etsy?
This would be because all your listings have the same metadata. You need to include words that describe the photo/art in your listing title, tags and/or description in order to be found in search results on Etsy.
@StudioPhotoPrint There are multiple reasons why your views from social media may have dropped. Perhaps you've exhausted your pool of prospects, perhaps the social media platform is not showing your posts to the "right" people, etc. Lack of views and visits does not mean that your dashboard is not working. This is a forum for technical issues - perhaps the "Marketing Your Business" forum has people on it who could help you out more.
