Customers say they can note add a note to buyer

Hello,

I have had 2 customers today tell me they could not add a note regarding the order and had to put it in the personalization section. 

I put an order in my cart and tried to add a note and it will not work. Has any body else noticed this and if so, is there a way to report this to Etsy.

Not quite sure what you mean by "it will not work" as I think there's a few different things going on with the note right now.

On a desktop Etsy moved the add a note to the hamburger menu (the 3 dots next to the shop name when viewing the cart) - is that working or is the note not sticking?

On the app, I was never able to figure out how to add a note

They have to click on the ellipsis next on the order before paying.

I also had to google ellipsis.  Not a word we use every day - actually not one I have ever used.

@UppNorthEh haha, technically a hamburger menu is the 3 straight lines, but I often just use the same term for the 3 dots

A hamburger menu is a navigation menu that looks like three horizontal lines stacked on top of each other. It's also known as a mobile menu, slide drawer, or hamburger button.

It does work with the three dots ... I tried it on your listing and in order to get to the place to leave the note, I had to click 2 times.  I also have a listing with the leave a note request and apparently people just aren't taking that second step.

I have said it before, that so much about etsy is not intuitive at all.  I have never added a note to a seller but I honestly don't know if I would figure that out.

I just tried it again and it is there now but in a different place and is now working.
