Anytime somebody tries to purchase an item from my shop, the order is confirmed, but then they get an email saying the order couldn't be completed (see pic in link). I don't even get a notification that the order went through, or was cancelled or anything
Not a scam attempt, I had my dad and close family confirm they can't purchase any items in my shop either
I finally got my listings back after a week of contacting support due to a security bug, and I feel bad for my customer who has tried 4 times to buy my items but Etsy just keeps having issues!

Do you happen to live with you dad and close family that you're asking to try and make a purchase? Or were on shared wifi when you asked them to try and buy from you?
We don't live close at all, and I noticed this issue when a completely unrelated customer ran into this issue first.
Then those customers need to contact support and see if they can get an answer as to why they can't purchase. Customers are much more likely to get help quickly than sellers are.
AFAIK it's an issue with my shop alone though. I get that buyers get support priority and all, but since the issue seems to be with my shop/listings, they aren't likely to be able to resolve this issue in any meaningful way.
So? Not sure why you wouldn't want them to check with support just because it's a problem with your shop. They're the ones having issues, no?
If a customer asks support to look into a shop and see why they can't buy from them, they are more likely to see if they can find an issue than if you contact them and ask why people can't buy from you.
We are only other sellers here, so we can't see into your account and see why it might not be working. ASAIK your customers should be contacting support and asking to look into why they can't buy from you.
I had no idea what your items are, and they turn out to be related to a video game series - perhaps your orders are being refused due to "One Piece" intellectual property issues.
Man that would be a weird way of doing that. Letting the customer order, but just refusing to take their money.
You can make fan art for yourself.
You can make fan art and give it away as gifts.
You CANNOT make fan art and sell it for a profit without first getting/paying for permission from the trademark and/or copyright holder of the property.
Your items are IP infringements and not allowed on Etsy.
Yes, other shops do it, until they get caught and their shops are closed. Permanently.
did you solve the problem ? if you did tell me please, I had a same issue with you
Was it one of the listings with "Fast and Furious" or "Porsche" in the title? If so, I would guess that the problem is IP infringement.
