I have a customer who is unable to access any of the file downloads she purchased.
- She is on browser on a desktop computer running Windows 11
- She purchased as a guest.
- She said she can't download any of the attachments. When she clicks on the cloud download or the file name, nothing happens.
This is the first time I have gotten this feedback from a buyer.
Does she have a PDF reader installed on her desktop?
I'm going to assume she does -- the instructions are in a .pdf format. The files she can't download are .zip and .svg files. Could that be tied to a .pdf reader? Thanks!
Can you send her the unzipped versions?
If the zipping is the issues, that might help.
Whick browser is she using? Most browsers have a PDF reader installed. I'm on Edge and the pdf reader is automatic.
Is she using her email?
Can she come in. Go to purchases and download from there. All she needs to do is click on the buttons. Depending on how her browser then shows the download.... Mine is in the upper right corner when I download.
I always use the purchase page to download. Never the email.
She might have security set high and that can be preventing the download from opening.
Another thought what sort of device is she trying to get this into? Cricut, Silhouette or another? I don't see a listing mention for any other besides the first two. THat could be the problem too.
Thanks!
Since she is a guest, not a registered user, she wouldn’t be able to login. She must be getting there from an email.
“Go to purchases and download from there. All she needs to do is click on the buttons” - this is where she says she clicks on the cloud download icon and nothing happens. They are SVG files for a Cricut. She said she orders like this all the time and it normally works. There are both SVG files and a ZIP file she is unable to download.
I would just e-mail them to her
