I had a local customer purchase 2 items, and needed them quickly, so we arranged a pickup. I tagged the sale as such before hitting the completed order button, yet was penalized for not having a tracking number, what gives Etsy, and how to correct this?

There are many ways to confirm in person pickup - the seller scan's a QR code the buyer receives, or the seller can enter a code that the buyer receives. This allows both parties, and Etsy, to confirm the buyer has received their item.
