Customer message going to spam...lost Star Seller

I received a message from a customer in July.  It went to my spam folder and I wasn't aware that it was there, so I didn't respond until I discovered it a few weeks later.  Because this affected my message response percentage, I lost my Star Seller Badge.  Everything else I do is 5-stars.  I need this fixed.

I am still having problems with messages not marking as responded to.

Re: Customer message going to spam...lost Star Seller

I just had a similar problem. I happened to look in my Spam folder and saw a Message that was several days old, possibly longer. It was from a customer so I moved it to my Inbox and responded to it. Big mistake. Etsy punished me for not responding within 24 hours even though Etsy put the Message in Spam in the first place. I guess I should have left it as Spam and answered the customer via email instead of correcting Etsy's error. I have not lost my star but I since Etsy uses three monthly review periods, I wonder if I will survive the next two review periods. I tried going though Chat help but got nowhere. Etsy is like a narcissist--don't correct them or you will suffer for it
