Currency doesn't change

Hello,

When I view Etsy as a buyer (searching to purchase something) the currency is in $US. Since I live in the Netherlands and we use €Euro here, I have changed it to Euro. However, that keeps changing to $US.

Any idea?

Your shop is on vacation mode so we can’t check for you

Check your Account settings to see if they were accidentally changed to US location and currency.  Also look at the bottom of any Etsy page to see if they also have US info.

Did you at any time change a 'deliver to' shipping location to the US when looking at another shop's listing, maybe just to check how much shipping would be?  If you did, just change it back to the Netherlands.

@TheVintagePineapple I have already stated that when I am using Etsy as a buyer I am facing this issue. So, it doesn't have to do with my listings and/or my shop. I go to Etsy.com to purchase something, the seller is from Poland, they list their items in Euro and I am seeing it in US dollars. Even though I changed it to Euro, I hit "save changes" it keeps coming back as US dollar. So frustrating.

@cuttingsNL Yes, I realize you were seeing US$ when shopping as a buyer.  It was NanaLetha who mistakenly thought you had a shop problem.

Your 'You' Account Settings are not just for you as a seller.  When anyone, seller or buyer, is having a problem such as this, it's advised to check the settings in several places to make sure they have not changed.  And to also make sure you didn't accidentally change the ''deliver to'' location when you were shopping on another shop.

Check at the very bottom of an Etsy page where there's a dark blue banner that shows ''location, language and currency''.  Is it accurate?

My shop-front currency and viewing other shops on Etsy has always been euros as I am in France, but for the last month or so it resets itself to £ UK.  I reset it every day when I log in.  It is a total pain.  In shop manager it is still in euros.

@TheVintagePineapple I went to Etsy.com main page and changed the currency (bottom left) from $US to € Euro. Let's see if that was different from the other settings (general settings on my Etsy).
