A few weeks ago, I received a copyright infringement notice at the top of my shop manager page highlighted in red and disappeared before I could read it properly. The message said that an email was sent to my email address and the items would be deactived. So I went straight to my email, and there was no email from Etsy, and no items were deactivated. Has this happened to anyone else. It seems strange, and I cannot contact anyone anywhere about this.
Some have reported glitches like that. I'd check my spam folders though and make sure the artwork I was using was mine, licensed by me for my commercial use from the original artist or in public domain.
Thank you!!! There was no spam mail at all. Not sure what happened. It's very difficult to sort out when there is no one to help you
Hello. You can contact chat support through your Shop Manager>Community & Help>Contact Us>look for the drop down that pertains to your issue or go to the bottom and click I Still Need Help. Chat support cannot reinstate the listing but they can tell you what was deactivated (although you should be able to go to Inactive listings and find which listing it is), if you didn't already do that and also request an email. Next, you can get further help by reading up on etsy policies by going to Shop Manager>Community & Help>Site Policies>Our House Rules>scroll down to Sellers. Hope this helps you find out what's going on.
I just had this happen today (1/2/2022) too. Very helpful rep at customer support said it was probably a technical glitch.
SUGGESTION: it would be great to get an email saying something like, you may have unintentionally received a warning, but you are not in violation, or something to that effect, especially if there is an actual person reviewing and resolving potential but inaccurate infringement warnings.
Here is my experience:
1) As I clicked on whatever it was I was trying to do in the first place, I noticed the banner, but then the banner disappeared and I never got to read it carefully (note to self -- slow down
2) nothing was/has been deactivated
3) no email, including in my spam folder
Same just happened to me. In my case, I got an expected email regarding a listing I had decided to allow to expire, and when I clicked on its link to go to my Listings manager, there was a warning in a red box on top of the page, saying that an item had been deactivated due to an intellectual property infringement claim from ERANK (I do think I remember "ERANK" being all in caps, which seemed odd, because I've always seen it written lower case). There was a link to review Etsy's intellectual property policy, as well as a statement that Etsy would be sending me an email. As with the others in this thread, when I navigated away from that page and then back to it, the box with its notice had disappeared, and there has so far been no deactivated listing and no email about a deactivated listing. I cannot think of any listing I have that would have anything to do with erank's intellectual property.
The fact that it mentions a specific company seems strange. Does it just randomly pull out some entity that has previously filed a DMCA against anyone on Etsy? Or is the glitch actually at erank's end, filing and then immediately withdrawing claims?
The fact that this has been happening for at least a couple of years is especially annoying. Whether at Etsy's end or erank's, one would think a "glitch" could be fixed by now.
I know, that's incredibly optimistic on my part!

Same thing happened to me a couple of times but there's was no deactivated listing...probably a glitch.
That happened to me but there was no deactivated listing. It was a vintage doll dress by Mattel from the 60s, and I sold it about 3 years ago! I was able to delete the sold listing. Usually, sold listings are not able to be deleted in my experience. Etsy gets the hiccups sometimes.
