Closing Pattern and transferring domain to GODADDY

Hello. I hope someone can help me. I am in the process of closing my Pattern shop and moving my domain name (www.henriettascountrycreams.com) to my new site managed by GODADDY. I have disconnected and entered the code etc and I'm being told I need to contact the service provider (Tucows) and have them add a tag GODADDY. It's all pretty complicated really as it is impossible to contact Etsy and also hard to contact Tucows. Can anyone help me please? Thank you.

@henriettarutherford: Etsy is not a party to this - you need to contact the domain registrar to transfer to a different registrar.

Re: Closing Pattern and transferring domain to GODADDY

What exactly are you being told?  "A tag" or the A record?  It's likely the A record needs to be adjusted to correctly point to GoDaddy.

This might help:

Re: Closing Pattern and transferring domain to GODADDY

Hello, I'm actually not sure why she used the word "Tag". I guess now I need to know how to adjust the A record as now I have closed my etsy shop so no longer have access to anything. The message says that I need to log into the provider where it is registered and modify DNS records but this is not possible as there is no such place to log in.

Thanks for your reply.

@henriettarutherford: Exactly what issue are you having? www.henriettascountrycreams.com goes to a working website.
