I was just charged $26 for items I had deactivated. Now I am trying to figure out HOW to contact someone to have the charge reversed. Any advice? Thanks.
Did you make sure they were on manual renew before you deactivated them?
How odd. What happened to the deactivated items after they were renewed? Did they get changed to active or are they still in the inactive section?
You will need to contact Etsy Support via the links in your shop manager. (Community & Help)
They stayed deactivated. I finally figured out how to contact Etsy and have done so. Thanks so much for your reply!
If your items are on auto-renew (the default), then they will renew once they expire whether they are active or deactivated
If you set them to manual renew, then expired items will not renew whether active or deactivated.
It is extremely unlikely that Etsy will refund you the unexpected renewal fees.
Double check all your items are on manual renew by doing a bulk edit of renewal options from the listings manager
@Marmalady I'm not disagreeing with you, if that's how it works then so be it, but that is ridiculous. Another stupid oversight by the programmers. It's completely counterintuitive but I guess there's a lot of things on Etsy that are just that.
I probably do have them on auto renewal now that you mention it, I just took for granted that because they were deactivated, that wouldn't apply. I guess it does. Thanks for the info! I appreciate it!
Thanks everyone. I guess I will wait to see what they say when and if they reply to my inquiry. Appreciate the info and help though
I have just put an advertisement in my shop - etsy charged 0,20 but it's not placed.
it's
Listingkosten (USD 0,20) |
and when you looked at the listing it's saying not findable.
what can i do now?
thanks
