Charged for an offsite ad, but no purchase made from offsite ads

I just checked my financial > monthly statement to find I got charged for two purchases via offsite ads.

I went to check my stats to find I had no purchases from offsite ads in the last 30 days.

Etsy is charging us for stuff that didn't even happen now?

OP, there will be a place under Stats where Etsy shows the location of the Offsite Ad. Remember, the buyer could have looked at your listings any time within 30 days earlier and then returned to your shop to buy any other item. You won't know what item the buyer first examined.

@TinLizziAntiques The purchase doesn't show in my stats, though. The last purchase from offsite ads was in July sometime, nothing in August.

I find the Offsite Ads page doesn't always update without a manual refresh: https://www.etsy.com/your/shops/me/stats/offsite-ads?ref=shop-stats-web&date_range=this-month
(It frequently shows me sales outside of my chosen time frame, but misses the most recent one.)

You can also go through your Payment Account line by line to see when the charges were incurred: https://www.etsy.com/your/account/payments/monthly-statement?month=8&year=2024

@cindylouwho2 Looks like the refresh worked. Sales happened yesterday from the ads.

Etsy isn't too much in a rush to keep up!
