Cha Chings for old orders ???

Anybody else getting cha chings on the app for old orders?  Also getting notifications for the same reviews over and over again,  sometimes 3 or 4 times?? I am....

Yes too... First ime I got the cha-ching with the new app, i thought I had à new order (Joy...) but no...

This issue (and many similar ones) have been reported in numerous threads on this forum and all seem to be related to how and when the Etsy Apps synchronize or don't - that is why it sometimes works to log out and then log back in or delete and reinstall the app. These actions appear to force the app to get fresh data.

Yes!  It happened twice yesterday with orders that were a couple weeks ago and had been long since shipped.

There have been at least a couple of recent threads reporting the alert sound but no apparent new order to go with it. This explanation makes a lot more sense than getting the alert sound purely at random.

Oh, I got one a couple of days ago. I was so confused.

Cha-ching!  I look at my phone, and click on the nice new order.

"Ah, some of those, a few of those, and those... hang on, I had an order just like this a few days ago, didn't I?"

Well, sometimes people do decide they wanted more and put in a repeat pretty quickly....

But then I realized it was the original order (which was already in the post!)

So then I checked my three Etsy shops, but none had a new order that I wasn't already aware of.

I'm getting odd notifications for old messages, the little orange numbers on orders, but no orders to see.  I've just deleted and reinstalled the app to see if that will sort things out.

I got a cha-ching for an old order yesterday. It confused the heck out of me when I went to look at the order.

Same here .. got 2 tonight - 35 minutes apart - both from orders from yesterday already shipped today in the morning and now got again the new order notification on my phone.. So annoying!!!!! using old Etsy seller app.. and dont want to use any new app.. so invasive on what it will be monitoring from you. no privacy at all ... looking at info not even related to your shop. nobody should installed before reading all info that you would be giving away to Etsy.

I still have the old app installed and not in any rush to download the new one. 

I only have it for notifications and ease of posting to IG, otherwise use a browser to run my shop, but no I haven't had any funny notifications, just the ones I'd expect, sales, messages and reviews left.

Yes me as well on my phone, to a while to work out what was going on...thinking something was wrong and I had missed some orders but found that they had already been done and dispatched.

I am not getting repeat notifications for old orders but I am getting notifications of old messages, many times over.
