@AppleJadeStudio you must be getting everyone else's cha-chings that they aren't getting because the notification sound isn't working in the app for them lol

That doesn't sound like the worst Etsy glitch!  LOL!

Do you have more than one version of the app loaded?  I know when we still had access to the older app, I was getting double notifications, until I adjusted one of them.

Is this a new thing for you?

Oh, I just remembered what I woke up to this morning - that number on the app icon, that shows sales/convos?  Mine showed "25" and I almost had a heart attack!  But nothing new on my dash.

I'm guessing it's an app glitch, for both of us!

The day after I uninstalled the old app/installed the new one, I had a notification of 70something so I feel you.    What an emotional roller coaster....and yet my data still isn't current on the 'new' app.  Grr.

No I have only one app. I deleted the old one. I miss the old app.

This has been happening since I started using the new app at the beginning of May. Its so annoying that im thinking of silencing my notifications

I started getting all sorts of weird noises happening when I switched to the new app. They added some new items to the notifications that would ping, ca-ching, ring a ling a ding dong. It was driving me nuts. I shut off ALL notifications for the app, restarted my phone, and then went and turned on the notification for sales ONLY. That seemed to cure it from all the other beeps and boops it was belching forth.

I usually get 2 cha-chings, but the 2nd is my tablet and that sometimes is 3 or 4 hours later.  My app glitch is I keep getting the same notifications over and over (no noise, thankfully).  I'll get the initial notification, get it again a couple of hours later, then it appears several times more, sometimes 4 or 5 days after the fact.

Sometimes I find a little drop down button next to the notification, which allows me to choose when I want to be renotified, but there is no option to not be renotified.  It's ridiculous... I certainly don't need to know that Joe Schmuck favorited my item, more than once.
