Cases

Who actually protects the sellers from unfair and lying buyers? I tried to contact Etsy as I’m not happy with a case and it just goes to an error screen.

Re: Cases

@PinkCactusSheffield - Do read the following: https://www.etsy.com/legal/policy/selling-to-eu-buyers/239965962014?ref=list

And: https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115014372467-How-to-Set-Up-Your-Shop-Policies?segment=sellin...

While I realize your items appear to be personalized, without the proper policies in place Etsy will be inclined to side with the buyer. (in the UK/EU policies include privacy policy, shop owner information, etc.)

Re: Cases

@PinkCactusSheffield  , If you have a case opened against your shop, any info you want to submit should be done through the case. Esty looks at whatever info/responses are written there when reviewing/deciding  on the case.
