Cant install Etsy seller app

My Etsy seller app said it needs updating .. 

I tried and it would not update so uninstalled it and then tried to reinstall it and now it wont let me through android play store!

So no seller app now!!!

Any suggestions???

There have been several posts with this issue lately - I don't know what is going on!  My app updates automatically, and my phone is several years old.

I have the same problem.  Couldn't update for over a week so I uninstalled & tried to reinstall.  Didn't work.  Cleared cache for the play store, made sure my phone's operating system is current and tried again with the same result.  I sure hope someone figures out how to fix this soon.

The OP in this thread was having another problem too but they did not return to say how they fixed either issue.

For the moment I guess you can use either the browser on your phone or use a computer to access your shop.

Are you sure you are not trying to update the discontinued "Sell on Etsy" app with the orange and white icon?  Because the new "Etsy Seller" app has the blue icon.

OP, be sure you have removed any ad blocker apps or VPN on your phone. Look at your phone's security notifications under settings to see if anything else could be interfering with installation. I use an Android phone too for my Etsy Seller app and have had no problems, but I check security often.

In having the same issue. It wouldn't update so tried turning my phone off and on, thay didn't work. Then uninstalled it and now can't reinstall it. I'm glad that it's not just me but it's not really the point is it? I hope they get it sorted soon

This was happening to me and I finally found a comment from Etsy developers on the Seller App in Google Play Store: You need to uninstall the old Sell On Etsy app (the orange one) then you will be able to install the new one. 

I did this and it finally worked! Check to see if your phone still has that old seller app installed and uninstall it!

It worked instantly after reading your instructions.

This doesn't work for me. I had already uninstalled the orange app and can't reinstall the blue app.

This worked for me!  Go to your apps and search for Etsy, you'll see the old Etsy Seller APP (not the Etsy buyer app) and uninstall it.  Then try again!

Search your apps for etsy, unistall the old orange and black sell on etsy.  This will allow youbto install the new version.   I forgot i still had it and it interfers with the new version

Remove the old etsy seller app with the orange icon that was inactivated last year. I was having the same issue and unistalling the old app fixed the problem.
