Cannot verify old bank account and not receiving deposits

Hi, I have had an Esty account for a 10 years and the banking details are outdated.  I recently made a sale and sent the product, but when I went to check payment details, I was told that I had to input bank account for an account I no longer have and I'm not sure what bank it was at.  I originally set this up a long time ago. 

Customer service told me that I was unable to update it without that old account number.  I cannot find it and I've moved a few times in the last 10 years and no longer have it.  I was told to start a new Etsy account completely, except I haven't been paid from the recent sale, so now I'm out the product and the money.  Can I verify with plaid, face ID, or any other account details?  Is there any other way to verify myself or my new banking details?

This is not Etsy's problem at all.  It is your problem and you will have to find a way to get the information required.  Verification is no joke these days so if you cannot verify yourself then you cannot sell.  I don't see how Etsy could help you.

Clearly, it is my problem.  And yes, they actually allowed me to sell it.  I sent the product and now have no product and no money.

Etsy can't fix that for you. Look at old tax returns and/or statements.

Check old tax returns.  Find an old check.  Frankly you should have information going back 10 years for bank/tax. 

You may just have to close the shop and then open a new one which of course means a fee now.

The funds you may simply have to count as a loss.  And if you can't find I suggest putting your shop on vacation mode until you get things resolved.
