Cannot use search when rearranging shop

We cannot figure out a way to place seasonal items on the front page because the search function does not work while in rearrange mode.  With over 1,000 designs it is totally impossible to slog through the pages to find a Halloween or Christmas themed item, it takes hours to gather those items together and get them on the first few pages and we don't have that time to waste.

If we renew the item and switch to "most recent" option, there it is on the first page, but as soon as you go into rearrange, it defaults back to custom mode.  Surely there is a way around this?  And if not, then Etsy please work on this ASAP!  We lose a lot of sales during the holiday season with not being able to rearrange as needed.

@thependantemporium  :  You should keep in mind that most buyers will not see your storefront, and for those who do you have the appropriate sections. A sale will ruin your order anyway.  But you should be more concerned about all the copyright and trademark infringements in your shop like Dr Who and the university branded items.  Etsy is cracking down on what they feel inappropriate. Since Etsy is now also factoring descriptions in search, they along with titles, tags. and materials are all probably being checked. And the bots are also "reading" images

Yes it is a pain.

The best thing to do is open your shop in two tabs... one tab for rearranging and the other tab to find which page has what you are looking for.

Thanks for the suggestion!  That's a great idea and that should have occurred to us ages ago, we've been struggling with this for a while.
