So I've been trying for a while to mention people using the @ symbol on Forums, but people have been saying that it doesn't notify them and there is no horizontal line underneath their names. I wonder if someone knows how to fix this?

Re: Cannot @ people on forums

are you on a phone or another device? I would try it via a different device if I could,

@JustJoannaGoods

I'm on a MacBook with Safari.

Wondering if re-booting your laptop would help.

@ChillwolfArt Nope. Nothing came up. I don't know if it can be fixed on my end.

@TheVintagePineapple Good idea! Do you know where the settings are?

Re: Cannot @ people on forums

@JustJoannaGoods Go to your avatar upper right and you'll get settings and subscriptions.  (No idea if subscriptions have anything to do with this problem tho.)

Re: Cannot @ people on forums

@TheVintagePineapple Ok, I searched through the settings. I thought turning on tagging would work but it is not.

Re: Cannot @ people on forums

I'm not sure of one setting under Subscriptions called push notifications.  Anyone know what that means in relation to the forums?  Could the problem be that ''Turn off all push notifications'' is checked?

@JustJoannaGoods Just to make sure -- are you scrolling down to click 'save' when you make any changes to the settings?

@TheVintagePineapple   @JustJoannaGoods  I've been looking at what's checked under my Subscriptions > Notifications.  And I don't understand half of it, or why a box was checked vs. unchecked.

Re: Cannot @ people on forums

I definitely still have this issue.

The only way I can tag someone is if they are already tagged, I copy and paste it from another comment.

Re: Cannot @ people on forums

@JustJoannaGoods I just saw another poster in another thread whose tag did not work, so it could be a glitch for some posters. There is another possibility that I thought of. You may have an extension on your browser that is blocking the function, like an ad blocker, virus program, etc.
