Cannot install Etsy seller app

I tried installing an update to the seller app (v1.48.2 for Android) yesterday but after downloading and looking like it was installing, I only got an error message. Uninstalled the previous version, but same problem so now I have no seller app!

Now I see that the release date for the app on Google Play is 10 Sept 2021?

I tried all the suggestions referred to in the error message, but the problem continues.

Yup it was released as a beta 10 sept 2021, the update date is showing as aug 3, 2023.

just installed it myself on android and no errors here.

I also updated mine last week, android, no issues.  Could be your phone might not be compatible with the recent version?

We've seen this problem on FB groups - some have had problems re-installing the blue seller app because they haven't uninstalled the old Sell on Etsy orange app.  Once they uninstall the orange, they can install the blue.

@RaggdollCarnival  - I had both old and new on my phone and iPad for weeks with no problems.

I still have both, but I haven't tried to reinstall the blue.  It may also depend on the operating system.

I have the same issue. Tried to install the update and couldn't.  Uninstall yhe seller app and now can't reinstall. Cleared cache. Restarted phone etc. Still won't install.....

I could not install the new Etsy seller app, I  Uninstall the old app and tried to install the new one.  The Etsy seller app completely disappeared from the Google Play Store. I was finally able to install the app to my phone by linking my phone to my computer and installing it from the computer Google Play Store. What a nightmare. The stats are not correct either. I have a repeat buyer and it shows her as a new buyer.  The number of my shop followers is also well below what it actually should be. I have also been charged marketing fees when I've turned that feature off.

I also could not install the app it would not update so I uninstalled it as instructed via the Etsy support comments on the Google page in Play store now it will not reinstall and I cannot get it to reinstall no matter what I do I have an installed every etys app including the regular one... It will not reinstall to my phone
