Cannot create listings – Page not loading

Hi everyone, I’m having trouble creating new listings on Etsy. The page does not load when I try to create a new listing (both digital and physical). I’ve tried multiple devices, different browsers (Chrome, Firefox), cleared cache and cookies, and even used mobile internet instead of Wi-Fi. Nothing works.

I also checked Downdetector, and there are no reported Etsy outages.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Any solutions? Thanks!

Yes, trying to add listing and cannot finish the opening page (can only check who made the item).  It is like the page is frozen and unable to swipe it up to complete and move on to second page.

EXACTLY same experience @TheScoutGirls . “Apply” or “Continue” tab does nothing and cannot scroll. Definitely frozen. I’ve been in touch with Etsy and so far the suggestions they made have not solved the problem. Sent them a screen shot and waiting to hear back about what they can do for me. If no luck, I guess it’s a sign I need to move on from Etsy.

@PatternbyMIA   @TheScoutGirls  I know you shouldn't have to do a workaround, but can you try this in the meantime (and don't use the App):

Copy a similar listing > Publish, then Deactivate > Make all of your Edits > Reactivate.

Hope this will help in the meantime.

@ChillwolfArt I was just thinking about trying that out. A few extra steps but better than nothing while I figure out whether to stay here or move on.

That is what I did. Edit an old listing . This should not be the fix for etsy.

Yes more time consuming, doesn't always land at the top of the shop, and I'm fairly sure the whole thing is having an effect on sales! Sold exactly zero for 3 days now, and that is very very unusual.....sigh. the last time this happened (when they rolled out the 'new and improved' listing form) it took about 10 days to get fixed. Smh.

Hello!  Yes I haven’t been able to list anything for two weeks.  The core details page is frozen.  I’ve contacted Etsy but no help.  I’m loosing sales and have so many things to list.  Any luck on your shop or ideas?  Thank you!

Yes, same for ne here. They claim it is with us, our browser, etc....it looks like THEM--and etsy can't fix tbus?

I usually just copy listings but I gave this a try in Chrome to see if I have the same issue and yes- there is no way to click past the first window stating I made the item.

Yes, I am..and I know there are others having same problem after e tensive t th oubleshooting.....I told etsy that they need techs to look into this as it is their business that also suffers....it is their job to be welcome and compatible with all browsers, not have us greenhorns muddle around

I am having the same problem. I contacted etsy and they were no help. I did what they suggested and still have the same issue.
