Can't show a 2011 order shipped.

I've had an order from 2011 that never showed shipped. This was before Etsy had their own mailing system. I've never been able to get it to clear. It's annoying because it always looks like I have something remaining to do.

Anytime I try to show it as shipped it comes back with "Receipt is too old to submit tracking"

Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

You need to contact Etsy and get them to do it for you on the back end.

You can try contacting Support.  Choose 'Shipped orders showing as incomplete' since it comes the closest to your problem.  It will bring up suggestions, but at the bottom you can click I still need help.

Support has, in the past, completed orders such as those and it won't send a shipping notification to the buyer.

I had an order showing as not shipped on my dashboard for around four years.

(it had shipped)

I didn't want to manually mark it as shipped years after the purchase as it would automatically send an email to the customer.

However, around six months ago, Etsy sent me a message saying they would remove the order from my dashboard.

So maybe Etsy automatically cleans up the order dashboards after a certain amount of time?

@TheSherbetPatch They don't do it automatically. The seller has to make the request.
