Can't send messages to buyers

Dear all, I am a seller and recently, my message is disabled temporarily. I can't send any message to my buyers by using Etsy message function. Etsy support team has already been working on it for a week but is still not able to solve the problem. Can anyone advise and help? Best Regards, Kelvin

Were you contacting "potential" buyers that liked your items?

Were you looking at competitor's store's feedback and messaging their customers with offers?

These would be against Etsy's Terms of Use and automatically give you a message "mute". The mute can last for a few days... up to a few months or a year if this is the case.

This mute is non-negotiable. Etsy will not remove it, even if you ask. You have to simply wait it out.

With Etsy's "Messages", you have the ability to communicate directly with your buyers or other Etsy members. Messages are a great way for buyers to ask you questions about an item or an order.

Messages may not be used for the following activities:

1. Sending unsolicited advertising or promotions, requests for donations or spam;
2. Harassing or abusing another member or violating our Anti-Discrimination Policy;
3. Contacting someone after they have explicitly asked you not to;  
4. Interfering with a transaction or the business of another member;
5. Exchanging personal contact, financial or other information for the purposes of evading the checkout process on Etsy, including phone number, address, email, social media handles, external URLs, instructions for money transfer, etc.

Thanks for advices. I use Etsy function --> Marketing --> Sales & Discounts, to offer potential buyers a discount if this item " is favourited" or "has been purchased" or "has been put in shopping cart". I thought that this is standard Etsy acceptable approach because this function is provided by Etsy. Can't I do it?

Why are you listing all of your items as "supplies".  None of them are craft supplies IMO.

I didn't mean change categories.

I meant REMOVE the Aliexpress and Temu items. They are NOT handmade. They are NOT vintage. They are NOT supplies to make crafts.

They don't belong on Etsy at all.

Go literally anywhere else that allows reselling.
