I crafted a reply to a negative review, but when I try to post it I get a yellow pop-up that says my reply cannot be posted at this time and if I continue to have this problem to contact Etsy for help. I've tried several times to post it and I keep getting the same pop-up. How do I contact somebody Etsy? I've tried to help section but it doesn't lead to any way to talk to a person. And it certainly doesn't address this issue.
Have you tried a different browser?
I'm sorry, but after reading the replies you've left for other buyers, it might be a good idea to hold off on replying to this latest review.
Why? Because I point out what they obviously didn't understand in the description or, worse, didn't even read it and then expect something different than what they ordered? I am not going to let a review with erroneous information just sit there without a reply and mislead potential buyers!
@SandyBeachBumCA: "I am not going to let a review with erroneous information just sit there without a reply and mislead potential buyers!" I think that people are trying to point out that it is not what you say, but how you say it.
@SandyBeachBumCA There is a way to answer that addresses yet doesn't shame the buyer. If I were a potential buyer and made a mistake and gave a less than stellar review, I would be wondering if I would be treated the same way. I wouldn't want to chance it so I would move on. The desire to inform is important but how it is done is important too.
If you are talking about the review from today, your reply is there.
It seems to have posted even though you don't think so.
Thank you, yes I was finally able to reply by using my laptop instead of my phone. The laptop version showed that I had too many characters, which the phone version didn't show. I was going to remove this question once I realized this but there isn't an option to do so. Thanks again!!

As a seller, do you want to be right or do you want to be happy? Yes, some buyers don't read descriptions. And it is in your best interest to make sure you provide the most important information wherever possible.
You have some spare photo slots in your listings. Have you thought of adding an info card right in your photos? "This bowl is resin, not glass" or something like this. You can't please everyone, but in some cases it could help.
