Can't edit shipping policies

Hello,

There is another discussion about this in the forums. In effect, those of us who don't use smartphones can no longer edit our shipping policies, and many of us need to change the information. The emails Etsy now sends to buyers don't list any shipping policies.

Sellers who use the Sell on Etsy app on a smartphone can edit their policies, however. I regard this as a technical problem, since Etsy should certainly allow people using laptops to edit without having a smartphone. 

Any other suggestions?

I never use my phone to do anything on Etsy. I use my iPad to reply to messages and check my stats. Anything else, I use my desktop. Never had a problem editing anything.

When you click on Edit Shop and scroll down to Edit Policies, Etsy has provided set policies and you can only edit Returns and Exchanges. If you go back and scroll through your policies, there is no longer a little Edit symbol to edit policies you have written about Shipping. At least that is what I and others have experienced so far.

You can no longer edit policies from the shop,

I looked at your shop, your return policies have gone from the shop edit, they are now on your listings - the ones I looked at said returns accepted in 14 days

Reading some other threads, it appears that all our original policies will "go poof" at some point. Etsy apparently wants to standardize all policies and are focused on Returns and Exchanges. Some people are placing their Shipping policies and others under FAQs. I may try that.

you can put anything you like under faq's, but etsy has stated they are not taken into consideration in a dispute (I specifically asked them about this with regard to the new stuff)

Go into shop edit.  Go into Edit policies.  This will take you to settings where the policy information is.  There are tabs.  Get familiar with what you can and cannot do.

I had the template policies.

The return information is now in each listing. 

What can be edited is limited.   Some say it can be done on the old app.  

I don't know.  I only use the app to view my shop, not to do anything else.
