Well... First it was the new shop name that was available but still can't click to move further.. Then the "unopened shop" was suspended... I have tried 2 or 3 times with the same results... Now ... I can't even go that far... Just put my mail, surname, pw and the account is automatically definitelly suspended... Note that my first shop is completelly fine...
Are you using a different email address for the second shop than you use for the shop you're posting from?
yes... All new address....
It looks like your open shop may not be Etsy-legal — all the items in the shop have to be either made or designed by you or other shop members. Your shop members are just you as owner, and a sourcing agent. Etsy does allow production partners, but those partners have to be making items designed by YOU, to your specifications. If you are just going around and buying goods (even handcrafted ones) from other sellers to sell here, that is not (technically) allowed by Etsy. I put technically in parentheses because one can easily find shops here doing exactly that, because Etsy can’t review millions of shops constantly for compliance. But they do try to check what they can.
It could be that Etsy is reviewing your open shop, and has blocked you to prevent you from opening other shops pending on the outcome of their review. I have no real idea, of course, but that seems a likely scenario.
Another possibility is that Etsy is not allowing any new shops from your country, because of payment processing limitations. There have been some forum threads that Etsy is shutting down all shops in certain countries for this reason, and in other countries allowing pre-existing shops to continue without allowing new shops to open. Supposedly Etsy sent emails to all affected shops. You could contact Etsy support to ask about the status for your country.
And the current shop has no badges, although it looks like the sales volume would be sufficient, so it appears Etsy has removed them, presumably for not adhering to the rules.
Thank you for your answer... Well we do produce all the shells and natural fiber items. We do have a 200sqm warehouse in Bali with 2 employed ladies in their 50's . For have a partner for the Driftwood items and our best seller items is my own design. For the brass we do work with a small foundry in Java. These brass items are also sold on ETSY by dutch companies (2 shops actually) that are importing by container and reselling on ETSY from the Netherlands. So I think we are in a proper place to sell here. Now I havent mentioned that our visibility has been limited last montn because we didn't met ETSY criteria for shipping in time. I got denge fever and was unable to work for 2 to 3 weeks. Now we are back to 90% but still our visibility will be back at the end of the month only. We are at 100% for stars and message answer. Could it be the reason ? Thank you in advance for your answer. Mery
@EclectikAsia: "For the brass we do work with a small foundry in Java. These brass items are also sold on ETSY by dutch companies (2 shops actually) that are importing by container and reselling on ETSY from the Netherlands." So these items are against Etsy rules for either you or the other shops. In simple terms, anything which is made for a shop by a third party must be designed by the account owner and made EXCLUSIVELY for that shop.
@Bagmakersupply Are you doing your parts?
"Are you doing your parts?"
Well that's rude. @BagmakerSupply is a supply seller and they have different rules.
You are not selling supplies, you are selling finished items that you do not personally make.
Etsy doesn't care how much money you make. They don't care how much any of us make, they only care about how much they make.
On your badges, the message Top Shop for gifts or whatever it says is usually what happens when Etsy strips your badges. As far as I'm aware. Even if you earn one or two and have made the sale/minimum amount, you still get the individual badges of the ones you earned. So there's more going on.
I understand you were ill, Denge Fever is awful and I hope you are feeling much better.
Maybe you should contact Etsy and ask why you are unable to open another shop. It could very well be what @PieceByNumberQuilts2 said, a country issue.
No one here can answer that since we are only shop owners and Etsy support doesn't come to the forums beyond a little assisting here and there.
PS: those lampshades are pretty cool! My cats would destroy them in seconds which is a bummer.
@EclectikAsia: "Are you doing your parts?" No, but we are a supply shop so the rules are different.
As shared above, the first shop doesn't appear to be Etsy compliant. It may be helpful to make some changes? It's possible that the new shop led to the existing one being noticed by Etsy. They may be currently reviewing it. If badges have been removed, it would be an indicator that this might be happening.

I still can see one badge at least... We should be back to Star seller status next month.. For now we have 5 stqrs, 100% of asnwers in time and 90 % intime delivery.. Up from 75% last month.. And yes our visibility have been degraded because of that...
The shop you have open is not handmade by you. Reselling is not allowed here. Read the rules in the Etsy handbook. This is more than likely why you cannot open another shop.
Not correct... We do produce all shells and natural fibers items. We have a close partner for driftwoo that produce OUR design. And we work directly with the foundry for the brass pieces. Anything wrong with that ? I don't think ETSywill start to close all shops that are selling for 100.000 $ a year...
That is correct.
Your words:
We do have a 200sqm warehouse in Bali with 2 employed ladies in their 50's . For have a partner for the Driftwood items and our best seller items is my own design. For the brass we do work with a small foundry in Java.
The "made by" option when listing your items, should be only for items made with your own hands from start to finish by yourself.
If not, then it is a violation of Etsy's Creativity policy, which could get you shut down. https://www.etsy.com/legal/creativity/#made
The next point:
I don't think ETSy will start to close all shops that are selling for 100.000 $ a year
In recent weeks they have closed down and banned sellers who have many more sales than you for those exact same violations. You will find a few of them who posted in the forum, and their shops remain closed.
I don't use the option made by me ... I use the option "Made by a member of my shop" and that is exactly who they are as far as I know.
