Can't choose category on listing

Trying to do a listing this morning, but when it came to choose category section for my item, it kept returning a 'can't be found' message for whatever I entered. I then tried to do it manually, but it was again unresponsive to 'select a category'. Anyone else having this problem?

 I should say this problem is on the old version, which I prefer to use. Haven't tried it on the new version yet. Needless to say I've had to junk the whole listing as it's one of the sections that has to be filled before you save it as a draft.

How frustrating! I haven't been having any problems with getting categories to pop up: only selecting them (because I'm indecisive). Beautiful items in your shop, BTW!

@ModaRetro  - You can try all the things usually suggested - clear your cache, etc. Try another browser?

Note, as a buyer I no longer have category filters available to me. (Type in search term & then go to All Filters to drill down thru Hobby & Craft, etc. - the category options are gone.)

Could there be something going on here? I have no idea.

Just to add it only seems to be affecting the old version as I've now checked on the new version and it's working as normal there.
