I cannot access my cart here on Etsy. It’s taking ages to load and then I get an uh oh! A stitch has gone awry. I’d really like to use this $5 off offer but the cart isn’t working! Help!

I am using browser. I don’t use the app. It’s not working on my laptop either.
Try the APP! This happened twice to me this morning. Here's my latest: my cart disappeared in my laptop browser as soon as I used the CYBER24 code. Gone completely (2nd time today). BUT THIS TIME I picked up my phone and my cart items, WITH the coupon code applied, were there. So I checked out with my phone app. But right now, on my laptop, I see my cart. as EMPTY, but at least I see it. Etsy support person had elevated my problem to a specialist and I'm still waiting for that person to contact me. Hope this helps! - Kate at StarkRavingCat
I have had the same problem all morning. Can't access my cart to check out. Keep getting an error message. Not using the app. Tried two different browsers. Will not work on my desk top either.
Still not working for me either. I just cleared all cookies. Turned off and turned on. Signed in again and cannot access the cart. Still giving an error when it does finally load.
I've done the same. Also re-booted. Cart still does not work. Everything else works.... except my cart. Hope they fix it before time runs out!

I know… I’ve been promoting this on Instagram trying to help out small Etsy shops and… cart isn’t working. The sale is only for 24 hours people are going to get frustrated and just give up!

No orders at all today, CyberMonday. AND: I also can't check out with my cart -- keep getting the Uh Oh, Something Went Wrong, Check Back Later message, or sometimes the page just won't load at all. Could it be site-wide? Or just on specific servers? We are in Texas 78676 -- Is it happening in other regions? Hey, Etsy, if you are listening: PLEASE fix or give us a heads up. Thanks.
Yep, this sucks for those of us selling (and buying) on Etsy. I believe that it is definitely something with the coupon code application. Once I entered that I could no longer access my cart.
I tried using 3 different browsers, cleared cache on all of them and then tried it all on another computer... same issue.
I ended up going through the app to access my cart and make my purchase. I wonder how many sales $'s were lost to this glitch today?

@thatregina Please can you escalate the issue to the proper team? There are multiple threads with many reports of this same issue across multiple browsers, clearing cache does not resolve. This is a very serious, seemingly widespread issue on CYBER MONDAY- totally unacceptable and needs to be fixed ASAP.
You realize most buyers aren't going to even find this thread and will simply leave and may never shop etsy again. They're not going to go through the trouble of waiting on a 'ticket' reply in order to make a purchase. This really isnt a solution. Etsy, your losing $$$
I did get past that point, but after saying I was having problems as a buyer, the options given to select from were seller problems, and from those very limited options obviously none were relevant to the problem. Of course, all I got was the typical, we're going to have to send this along to a specialist. So glad that Etsy is running a site wide coupon today, Cyber Monday, that crashes anyone's cart that tries to use it. Now I can't even access my cart to buy anything even without the coupon.
I can't check out for the sales I want and my customers can't either. This is going to lose me money.
This has been happening to me, in one of my accounts, for a few weeks now. Clicking on my cart gives me the "stitch has gone awry" error.
If you have more than one account, try those. My cart works perfectly for this account. Too bad I don't remember what I'm trying to purchase in the other cart...
Same, I can't access my cart.
Cannot get into cart at all. After a few minutes I get an Uh ho.... this stitch has gone away.... error message. Been trying since early this morning. Changed browsers. Cleared cookies. Re-booted. Would not work on laptop or desktop. Not using the app.
It's not based on the browser being used. It's account-based.
Edit: Now my second account isn't working either.
Account #1: wouldn't go to cart at all
Account #2: will show the cart, but removed a bunch of items from my cart when I tried to check out
i just contacted etsy help via chat. human removed items in my cart and placed them in my favorites. i then re-added them to my cart and it worked. i suggest contacting HELP desk and referencing this forum page link.
I'm glad you were able to purchasr. But most folks aren't going to do that and shouldnt have to. It's a busy day, online shopping shouldnt be a challenge!
It's like the coupon has hi-jacked the cart.
