Anyone else not able to send messages to their customers? I had no problem sending messages earlier today but all of the sudden after I hit send I get the dreaded red bar at the top of my screen that says "hmmmm something went wrong" if problem persists contact support.
I've closed out of Etsy and reopened it, and tried 2 different browsers. All give me the same red bar at the top. I contacted support and they have no idea why its happening
Does anyone know if using the Etsy chat works for this kind of thing? When I get the red bar up top it says if problem persists to contact them using the link. Has anyone tried that or is it best to wait for someone to see the issue here in the forums?
Tried using Etsy chat, but was cutoff. Etsy needs to fix the technical issues soon.
Can't send message to buyer informing them that their order has been shipped. Keep getting OOPS ERROR MESSAGE from Etsy. Was on line with Etsy about issue and was cut off. Also, still have issue with printing Etsy shipping labels. Have to refresh to print label. Extra steps and time lost. This issue has been going on for several weeks. When will Etsy fix these issues?

Hopefully, it will be a quick fix. Fingers crossed. I have so many proofs to send out.

Same here. Only when trying to message through an order (general messages seems to work).
I found a work around. Clicked on the buyers ID and messaged through the link (on PC its a small letter icon in upper right corner of their profile).
Message went through and is attached to the order details (didn't expect it to connect to the purchase so that was a pleasant suprise).
Just sent one, no problem. Perhaps it's fixed?

Are you getting an error message? Or does it say "Bummer! your messages have been..."
Were you contacting people who favorited your items or in general spamming potential customers? If so, you will lose convo privileges for a week or two.
Yes it could be that i message seviral today, but i didn't ment to spam or something i just told them to check my products in a friendly way ...
@Former_Member: Understand your point, but "i just told them to check my products in a friendly way ..." is technically considered SPAM because it was unsolicited and the recipient did not give you explicit permission to contact them. Etsy only permits transactional messages (i.e. questions about listing, update about order, etc).
