Can't Save City/State/Country in Profile

Trying to save my city/state/country in my profile.  I type in the information, and as I type it, the autofill box shows matches as I type, and once I get far enough in typing, I select the exact match, which includes "United States of America."  I then save but get an error message, as the entry gets truncated to "United States" which apparently is not accepted.  The error message says, "You must choose a city from the dropdown in order to have your shop appear in local search results."  Of course, this is exactly what I had done. I tried it several times with the same response.  I tried selecting a large city closest to where I live.  Same issue.

I performed this on Microsoft Edge.  I cleared cache and cookies and tried again.  No dice.  I tried it on Chrome - same deal.  Incognito - same deal.   Tried the IT Solution for Most Things - rebooted - ran through same set of exercises.  Anyone else run into this and if so, solve it?

I see your location as Bath, Maine. Is that not correct?

It is correct.  The problem that I tried to explain is that when I click on the drop down value of "Bath, Maine, United States of America" it won't save that selection.  Instead, it populates with "Bath, Maine, United States," which then results in the error message "You must choose a city from the dropdown in order to have your shop appear in local search results."  So, because I can't get the correct value "...United States of America" to stay after I've selected it from the dropdown (or typed it in in its entirety for that matter), per the message, my shop won't appear in local search result.  Does that clarify the issue?
