So, I'm reading in other places that the original code is not going to work.  It is showing scheduled in my marketing tab but hasn't launched even though my stats say it is now October 23.  Is this sale going to launch for me or do I need to redo something?

Mine launched at 12:01 am central time zone, which is how my account set up.  And before you ask, yes I stayed up to make sure it launched.  LOL
