I am trying to import some of my Etsy listings to another marketplace. However, the last time I did this for my website (2+ years ago), I noticed many extra listings that were not current had been imported over. No biggie, but I thought it odd.
Today, I uploaded my CSV and noticed there are 70 items instead of 67. I found at the bottom of the CSV 3 listings I removed over a year ago. I searched my listings (in my dashboard) to see if they came up, and they don't show under any heading (active, inactive, draft, or sold out).
Questions:
Why would my CSV show something I can't find in my listings?
I'm unfamiliar with Excel - can I edit the CSV and remove those listings so they don't import?
@ForeverWindingWool, Etsy is creating the CSV (i.e., determining which records are included in "currently for sale" listings), so it should be reported to them as a bug if it's including records that aren't actually current.
As far as deleting these - yes, you should be able to delete the 3 extra rows in your CSV (from within Excel or other spreadsheet program), then re-save the file. Then use the newly saved file for your import to your other marketplace.

Thank you!
Yes, you can remove those rows from the file.
