anyone hear back from Etsy regarding the “Core Details” on new listings freezing up and preventing new listings?
I had Etsy chat 3 days ago and they said they working to get problem fixed. It's not a browser or cookie problem. It is software problem. Now lve done 3 listings since but via desk top as have no computer and it takes too long the system keeps crashing and very jumpy so that is not a option. I read a post sellers getting around issue on computer but lot of us still don't have these so pretty stuffed here to be honest. And lve had zero sales for a week which is very unusual for my shop especially this time of year that used to be the best. App keeps going down too. I don't know what's going on but this end not a lot working. Other platforms l list no problem. But Etsy is my favourite platform so pretty sad really ..
@Teresasvintageempori: Have to tried the browser on your mobile device as a workaround? Often when people say 'computer' or 'desktop' they actually mean browser.
I tried to post a new listing another way but then it froze where you add the pictures. Ugh! How much longer before this issue is fixed!
I still have that problem and it is really bothering me that I can not add any listings to my page. Seems stupid, less revenue for them until it is resolved…
I don't have this problem but since I use the copy feature for most of my listings, I would suggest you do that too. It's better than not listing anything in my opinion.
It takes twice as long, if not longer - especially when selling vintage items. No two items are alike so you have to manually delete original photos then upload new ones, re-write descriptions, re-check boxes, change tag words, etc... Etsy just needs to do better. People are losing sales/money because if this nonsense. And support is ridiculous.
Can't do that either. Vintage items . Plus system seems to breaking down in other ways . One minute it's up next it's gone. And if you do get little window it will all crash half way through.

I've been listing using the copy option. You can change everything ... so it's equivalent to a new listing.
The fact that I can list using existing listings makes me think they did something to the listing form that doesn't work. Sigh.
@ThePeddlersPocket If you were making a new listing wouldn't you have to do all that too? I go through the listing I'm copying and delete most everything first.
I am having the same issue. There is no telephone number to reach Etsy at and the chat box and emails have been of no help.

I have submitted a call back but don't receive any call backs. I think it could be because I have a landline. You can't use eBay unless you have a cell phone and I guess it is the same with Etsy now as well. Etsy was fine before. Why fix something if it isn't broken?
Same Issue..can access the whole listing except the “Core Details” is frozen like a block of ice.
The request call back option is gone only email request. I've never found email any food as automated script when lve used it. Bit um that the call back service has gone .

They told me they are aware of the problem after so many emails trying to explain the problem, They had me do the usual dump your cache, restart, log out. Then they decided that it is their problem. They said no time of fix or a work around. I am at a week and half now . I am losing money by the day as I am a vintage shop who creates new items daily. I have a back log of over 50 new items now.
On my phone I use the copy feature and only add 2 photos at a time that are in my photo library. That seemed to help me. I don’t take photos in the app for listings.

I’m having the same issue, I have yet to talk with a person despite sending two messages today. How long has the problem been going on for?
just read in another post you just need to scroll down.
Tried it. It didn't work. Even tried it from a different phone.
That's the problem. It won't let you scroll down to get to the rest of the core details section.
