Buyers unable to purchase anything from my shop.

Hello. I haven’t sold anything yet. Today a buyer told me that they are unable to purchase any of my listings. They get an error when they try to purchase. Why is this happening and how can I fix? I then had my wife try to purchase something and she got the error too. Please help.

I just added an item to my cart and all the payment options were there. Is it possible the buyer is in a country you don't sell to? What's the error message being received?

Not a good idea to have your wife try to purchase something. It would very likely be considered shilling, which is against the rules. Also, if she uses your same IP address she probably can't purchase because you can't buy from your own shop.

Also, you need to complete your Shop Policies (there are no Return Policies in Place.  Only Payments Accepted).

I believe I added the return policy just now and am still buyers are  unable to purchase anything.

Well done! (the only thing I would do is delete the bullets which don't apply to your items (perishables, intimates, etc.)

Does anyone have a solution for me? I just had another buyer tell me they are getting the same error when trying to purchase. The error happens when they click “PLACE YOUR ORDER” 

Ter error they are getting reads ‘

Oh dear. There was a problem submitting your order. Please give it another shot.

Spokane SVG is my wife’s account. Besides you are allowed to have more than one account. So this can’t be it.

You are allowed to have more than one shop, but you cannot sell the same thing in both shops.

You must also DECLARE each shop in the other.

Could it be there are problems with some of your listings?  You say you are hand making Pandora charms?  That would be counterfeiting.  You also do not list your licensing agreement to use the Dr. Seuss character. Make sure you list your license for that and review your other listings before you bring your shop to Etsy’s attention.

Your shop is full of IP infringement TM items and Etsy may be taking a look. You cannot sell the same items in 2 shops from the same IP address. I kinda think Etsy may have customers blocked from purchasing since you are breaking the rules here.

Please help this is my first time using Etsy as a seller. I have my first buyer telling me that she is not able to purchase my product. 

“instant pay not found, sorry this recipient can’t accept payments right now”

she said she got an email saying I need it set up my instant account and to email estyinstantpay@usa.com 

I did and they are saying I need a prepaid Visa card with $200-$500 dollars on it to set that up?

when I was setting up my shop I didn’t see anything about that and everything else it set up bank account and all so I am so confused on what’s going on.

Sounds like someone is trying to scam you. Start a brand new thread as this one is old.

Be careful, as new sellers are often targets for scammers, and this person sounds like a scammer.

Do not click on any links, or communicate with this person outside of Etsy.

I see all payment options when I put a set of your coasters into my cart- there doesn't seem to be any issues.

And Etsy likes posts started in new threads; they will often close up old threads with new posts.

That is a scam going around.

The buyer does not need your email.

Put the message into spam.  Do not answer it or do anything.  Do not give them your information.

@agoddessontheloose The OP is no longer selling.  What kind of problem are you having?  Your shop has visible payment options and I had no problem adding a bracelet to my cart.  Is someone messaging you to let you know they can't purchase from you?   Are they also saying they need your email address?
