Buyer Address keeps reverting to Etsy's Suggested Address

Hello,

Etsy's suggested address for one of my customers is incorrect. It's suggesting a change to the city, but I've confirmed with the buyer and even searched the address myself, and the buyer's inputted city is correct.

However, despite me clicking ignore, and trying to use the address the buyer entered, the label keeps printing with Etsy's suggested address. At this point, I've tried 3 times and had to request a refund on all of them because Etsy keeps reverting to the suggested address. Everything looks great until I purchase and go to print.

Is there a way to fix this? I'm at a loss and worried I won't even get refunds on all these labels

@thenamnamco: Some ZIP Code™ are shared by multiple cities, and the USPS database defaults to the primary town. Can't speak for Etsy labels specifically, but some label generation programs blindly use the default USPS data rather than allowing valid alternatives. As long as the ZIP+4® is correct, the package will be delivered to the correct address.

I would try another shipping site. For example, pirateship.com has the same discounted shipping rates as Etsy.  If you are able to buy a label from them to the customers correct address, you can input the tracking number into the order the order so that Etsy knows you have shipped it and doesn’t mark you down for not shipping on time.

@thenamnamco   Make sure you are saving the changes to the label.  That drop down is pretty far down the page and I for sure have missed it a couple times....lol
