In order to allow comments on the blog, a "short name" is required by the comment plugin Disqus. Apparently the "short name" that was used when someone added the Disqus plugin to the pattern site Blog engine was never never written down or stored anywhere and no one seems to be able to find out what it is. I've been in a support loop that has no end and responses are fewer and fewer, mostly expecting me to find out for myself.
Question -- do you have comments enabled on your pattern site blog? If yes, please go to your blog setup page and see if the "short name" is listed there with the Disqus plugin link.
