Beware of missing variations when editing or copying

Had 2 products duplicated and was ready to do a 3rd when I saw it had no variations (despite the original having it). Only 1 of 3 kept the variations. In trying multiple times it's usually empty, even when editing an existing listing. Same for old/new listing editor. I submitted bug feedback, but beware if you're working on your shop. I had to delete the new listing as there are too many variations to redo them all.

I have also experienced this issue. Reported it on Oct 28, 2023 and it is still an issue according to support. Started to add more listings on Nov 7th and experienced the same issue. Only this time, I've noticed that when I copy a listing, the variations show up on the copied listing but if I save as a draft and have to go back into that listing (to make a change or anything) - the variations are no longer there. This happens regardless of the browser. I have tried Explorer, Safari, Firefox since I normally use Chrome, but the issue happens on those browsers as ewll.

I haven’t had that problem but could you list it and then use deactivate instead of saving it as a draft?

I had about 4-5 listings that didn't copy over the variations. Luckily I realized it after a few days and had to add them back manually so now I'm continuing to check after uploading new listings.

Yes, just happened again. I was copying listings and the first 2 did fine, 3rd one went bonkers. It removes the SKU and the variations.
