I've just received the £0.XX deposit in my UK bank account. However, there is no link anywhere to enter the amount on the Etsy system.
Under Finances > Payment Settings is just shows 'Pending Verification'. I would expect a link or button there to actually verify it. All it gives me is an option to 'Edit' which means entering new bank details and going through the whole process again.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Appears to be a bug.
You need to wait a day or two for the link to activate, sorry I can't remember the exact time you have to wait
Thanks. That's possibly the worst UX in the history of the internet. I've now resubmitted the same bank details and imagine it'll send a new microdeposit. I can see no logical reason why they don't provide that functionality at the outset, or at least when they send the microdeposit. Weird thing is that I think I stumbled on it via the app this morning, but it's now disappeared again.
Turns out that the button was on the Payment Settings page, but was shown as just a random black circle! No icon or text indicating it was the verification button. Clicked it and a modal popup gave me the verification field to enter the amount. Basically, Etsy has a styling issue on this page.
Omg thank you, the black button worked! I can't believe you found that out because there is literally no indication of the white and black circle in the corner (far away from the verify) to show any significance with it.
