best selling item,
in that category,
compared to others in that category,
over a recent timeframe (it's about a month)
so if you only just sold enough, and someone else who had it before, or was close, could have sold another, the badge moves back to them
personally I call it the "badge of doom", my sales always go down when I get it, and pick up when someone else has it,
I think people are looking for more handmade unique items here, and don't want what a load of others have
