Asking for my bank account number

My Etsy shop is asking for my bank account number.

Well I’m order to get paid you need to add your bank account number.

You've been here for nearly 2 years. If you're talking about the Plaid verification, you have to do it, or your shop will be closed.

Read other threads in the Forums. It's because of a new U.S. law. Be sure to choose the "manual" method. Millions of us have done it already with no repercussions.

but what about the plaid routing if I am not in US, but Latvia, Latvian banks doesnt have routing nr....  it wont connect

Only shops that were opened as USA shops are asked to be verified through plaid,

the rest of us are verified as we have always been

I am in the UK, so put my 6 digit sort code, and my account number

USA have 9 digit routing numbers, and an account number

@MeaghansBeadflowers   They have always had your bank account number.  That's how they know where your money should be deposited.

@MeaghansBeadflowers  - If you have ever written checks...bank account and routing number are on every check.

You don't have to give your personal log in information if you do it manually, but in order to get paid you do have to give your bank account number.  Do not give log in info.
