Is anyone facing an issue with Etsy Chat? Unable to initiate a chat

Me. I don't get to contact with their customer service. There is no one replying.

Today is a federal holiday in the US. They may not have full chat staff due to this.

When a help chat is initiated, a bot answers first. The bots appear to be down.

Earlier when you stated that I checked, and saw that the chat box was not loading. It is loading for me now. I don't actually need to speak with them so I haven't tried getting a response, but I would see about trying again now.

I've had this same issue since yesterday (10/8).

Yesterday was a Sunday and as much as Etsy wants shop owners to work the week end, they don't themselves.  Today is a holiday and Etsy doesn't work holidays either.  I would try again tomorrow during Etsy's work hours.

Chat has never worked in my shop.  I check it occasionally just to see if it has been fixed but it hasn't.    That's okay by me.

Chat won't help you anyway as even if you get a human they have a script to follow and if your "question" is not covered on the script then you will get no sensible reply from them.

Yes been having issues for well over a month. Contacted Etsy numerous times and still not resolved.
