When listing an item message pops up
You can look but we are unable to process at this time. Been going on for over six straight weeks now, and I listed new items this weekend with three days of flat line stats. No number just a flat line. Have contacted support close to 25 times now because it will not go away. And its affecting my sales.
Anyone else?
@BazzysHouse I've been listing new items for a week now, and haven't had any problem. I am using a desktop with chrome.
I always use the duplicate feature and have no problems.
Are you creating new listings from scratch? If so, maybe try "duplicating" an existing listing and fixing all of the item details, category, etc and see if that works for you.
Yes I see that on my listing previews, I assumed it's because the listing isn't live at that point?
I have had some sales, not as many as I'd like but sales nonetheless so it doesn't seem to be affecting them.
Everytime you send Etsy a new email, they assume the old problem was solved and treat the new email as a new problem, kicking you to the end of the line to start over.
It can take Etsy 10 days or more to respond to your first email. If their reply does not solve your problem, use the I Still Need Help link in their reply. Do NOT start a new email thread, or you will be starting over again. You often get 2 or 3 canned responses that don't solve your problem before a real person looks at your question. Just keep replying with the I Still Need Help link until you get a satisfactory answer to your inquiry.
@BazzysHouse: "Have contacted support close to 25 times now..." Every eMail from Etsy support should have a link something like "I Still Need Help". Click on that link in each reply from Etsy (or actually reply stating that you still need help) to keep the report alive otherwise Etsy will assume that it is resolved. You may have to do this innumerable times, before anything is done but do not give up. DO NOT open a new issue or contact Etsy multiple times about the same issue (doing so closes the one you already opened and puts the new one on the bottom of the pile).
Are you using the old listing page or the new one?
I've only seen this message while previewing the listing (before publishing).
I just went into your shop and clicked on a handful of items, so you will have to let us all know later if you see a jump in stats (once it catches up with Etsy to show). I did a bunch of re-listing a couple of days ago and that worked fine, but I'm going to try listing some new things this afternoon. I will return and let you know how it goes.
Anyone know the tags for the mods? If I did, I'd tag your thread to hopefully get you help. Maybe someone should tag some mods within this thread. Or start being really obnoxious to get it noticed.
no. it does not say that.
it says this:
"You can browse, but we're unable to process purchases at the moment. Try again in a bit"
and it has said that for at least a year when you are previewing a new listing.
it does not affect sales at all.
and you are not trying to purchase anything in your own shop anyway.
@BazzysHouse , That only shows in preview mode because the listing isn't live yet. When it's published that doesn't show. It has nothing to do with views.
