Two weeks ago, Feb. 18 my sales tally went down by 4. Come to find out, a customer tried to purchase 4 hats and I'm guessing the sale immediately cancelled because I never even got a notification about it. The problem was Etsy never added the 4 sales at all, they just subtracted them from my tally when the sale cancelled itself out. Fast forward to yesterday. I look at my tally at midnight as always to record the number and it is down again this time by 7. I go to my completed sales and immediately see two orders both cancelled, made by the same person in February. The name is slightly different, but the address is the same. The first order is 5 hats made/cancelled. Then they tried 4 hats made/cancelled. Etsy never added the 9 sales. They once again just subtracted them. I'm down 7 sales this time because I got 2 sales that did go through for 2 other people. This is really messing up my records. How am I supposed to keep track of my sales if Etsy is subtracting sales that were never added? I am so frustrated. I thought about blocking the buyer, but they used a different name, so this is affecting me in two different ways. I only knew it was the same person because of the address.
