All new messages going to spam?

I had someone I know send me a message after getting some messages lost to spam and it seems all new messages from non orders are going to spam now? Is this a new feature?

No its a glitch. Make sure you respond to them FROM your spam and don't move them into your inbox, otherwise late responses will count against your star seller stats.

No, it's not a new feature.  It's a bug that should have been corrected by now.  A number of sellers have been commenting in the forums about it over a number of weeks/months.  I haven't experienced this issue myself, but you aren't alone.

I would check you spam folder at least once a day, in case any messages have gone in there by accident.

If the message has been in spam over 24 hrs and you move it to the inbox to reply, then it is classed as a late reply.

But I saw a message the other day (when I put a message in the spam folder) I clicked mark spam, then I am sure it said "this person is blocked from messaging you" or something along those lines.

I will pay more attention on the next one, but has Etsy now found a way to block spammers replying when you have marked their message as spam? If yes, then this could be a huge issue for those messages going into spam by accident from actual customers.
