Hi Etsy,
We don't know if this is a glitch or if other people are having this problem, but we have several repeat customers who are letting us know that when they try to view items in our shops categories , they can see we have X amount of items in various categories in our shop, but when they try to look at what we have they get a picture of a open box that says "No Items Found". Our shop has 950 items in it and everything is missing? Really? How are we supposed to sell things when our customers can't find and/or see what we have for sale? These customers are using an IPhone to shop. Can you please advise take a look at this issue. We can't run a business if no one can see what we have for sale.
When you say viewing in your Shop's Categories, do you mean when they click onto your Sections? (it says "no items found"). Also, I wonder if they are using the App. I've seen posts where it says the App is not showing items. I don't use it, so I have no idea. I checked several of your Sections, and there were no items missing (desktop computer, Chrome).
@ChillwolfArt Thank you for checking! Yes, we mean sections in our shop and not sure if they are using the app or not. I also don't use the app so I can't check myself, but sure do appreciate you checking. We also use desktop and chrome and not a phone to shop, but alot of people do and if they aren't finding any of our items for sale, this is really bad for business especially at this time during the Holidays.
Etsy - is the app not working across the board or is it only for some that it isn't working? Do people get a picture with an open box that says "No Items Found" in the app? If so, this needs to get fixed immediately. No sales for us means no revenue for you either.
@shabbyshopgirls Here is a Thread which began in August and continued a few weeks ago. And it's about this very thing. I don't know if this is what you're experiencing. Also, sorry to say, I see you asked Etsy the question about the App, but they won't answer in the Forum.

ETA: You may want to try the Deactivate/Reactivate suggestion in that Thread. I really hope it helps.
@shabbyshopgirls -- ALL your items are showing in their respective categories when viewed via browser & app ... you're good to go!

The app can be wonky and since it affects only a few Etsy isn't likely to change anything except since they are buyers if they complain to Etsy about this it might get more traction.
Also it may be their device along with the app that is causing the issue. And it could be any security measures (if they have security on their phones) that might interfere.
Please tell us how you know it's only a few affected. I see multiple threads this morning about the problem.
After alot of testing on different devices, the problem is the App on Apple devices. It shows our shop, it shows the quantity of items/listings we have and the sections, however, when you actually click on various sections, it says there are x amount of items, but it either only loads 6 items and that's it, or it says "No items found" even though it recognizes there are items, it just doesn't load them on the device using the App. Now if you aren't using the app and have just used a google search for the shop itself, it works perfectly and android devices and desktops work as well. Just the App on Iphones seems to be the issue - Etsy.
@shabbyshopgirls And think of all the Buyers who aren't even aware of this. They search and believe the results they see are all there is. Etsy keeps pushing this dysfunctional App (I don't know how many times I've received, Download the App and get this and that". It's like pushing to get rid of a melon of a car by trying to convince people how great it is.
(husband of a shop owner) No solution, just more testing evidence: iPhone 13, ios 18. Went to shabbyshopgirls shop, clicked on Thanksgiving (23 items), "No items found". Deleted and reinstalled Etsy buyers' app, ran app, chose to shop as a guest (upper right option). Went to shop, could see all 23 Thanksgiving items. Closed app, restarted it, chose to sign in as an Etsy user with id and password. Went to shop. Clicked on Thanksgiving, "No items found". As a retired programmer, I sympathize with them, since the problem SEEMS sporadic but really isn't, But this is an URGENT problem that needs attention.
The same thing happens to me and we are surprised that we have no views and sale to our store! Ridiculous!
I have seen this glitch on desktops. It's not just an app issue. But I seem to be able to go through your shop ok at the moment. Routinely when viewing shops, I do not see page numbers either. If I refresh, they show up. Not many buyers would know to do that either.
@SweaterZoo - Wow! That is really amazing and horrible all at the same time. No buyer is going to go to this extreme just to shop in a particular shop - even our best customers are going to ditch us and go elsewhere if they think we don't have anything. No wonder why sales have been so terrible for so many people and just think of how many people shop on their Iphones! I personally don't but many do. Very sad and frustrating! I hope that Etsy reads these and does something about it - this is why we post these issues on the Technical Issues forum.
EXACT SAME THING IS HAPPENING TOO ME!!! FOUR CUSTOMERS THIS PAST WEEK MESSAGED ME ASKING IF I WAS STILL SELLING BECAUSE THEY CLICK ON THE SECTION THAT HAS 125 ITEMS, AND IT SAY "NO ITEMS FOUND". MY SALES ARE NON-EXISTANT, AND I'M USUALLY VERY BUSY RIGHT NOW. IM SO SICK OF THIS, AND ITS HAS TO BE THE APP WHEN SOMEONE IS USING IT. MY STOMACH IS LITERALLY SICK BECAUSE OF THIS. I WONDER HOW MANY SALES IVE LOST AND CUSTOMERS WHO DONT EVEN BOTHER TO MESSAGE ME!!!
Etsy - this is still a serious problem! The Apple products ie, Iphone, ipad are not working with the Apple App for Etsy! We are still getting customers who can't see entire sections of our shop as they say when they click on the different sections of our shop it says we have nothing even though we have over 950 items in our shop! This is ONLY happening with Apple products using the Etsy app. Android works fine with the app and desktop computers work fine, however, a lot of America uses an Iphone to shop and if they have downloaded the App that you keep pushing to download it isn't working! Please take a look at this! Our sales have plummeted when this is our very busiest time of the year!
Sorry for those affected by such a widespread outage. Perhaps this is just an issue with specific Apple products / models / users / Etsy buyers / Etsy Sellers? I have an iphone and have no issues with either of the apps (seller & buyer) ... I see all items in everyone's shop categories. Same for using a browser, no issues.
