Ads not working

My account was suspended in error by Etsy - now that they've turned it back on, my ads campaign won't turn back on. The page where I should be able to turn on ads is saying my account is in vacation mode or inactive, but it isn't. Clearing the cache and cookies didn't work, and I have the same issue when I try to access the same page in the seller app. Etsy, please help me. I'd really like to get back to what I was working on with the ad campaign I was running! Everything was working fine before my account was suspended by you guys.

Re: Ads not working

It can take 12 to 24 hours for things to resume.

Your items are in search.

You aren't talking to Etsy here btw.  Just fellow sellers.

I would assume the suspension was normal for ID or tax information.

BTW ads won't work well without good SEO.  Your tags and titles can use some work.  Your items won't show well for ads until your tags and titles are good,

Re: Ads not working

What would you suggest as far as tags and titles and such?

@BethanyCulp

You are using single word tags instead of the recommended 2 - 4 word phrases.  You also repeat words in your tags, which is an unnecessary waste of space.

Titles should be literally description - materials, colours, size, shape, style, technique, intended use, recipient, occasion.

The description is not descriptive enough. Because it is included in search, it should literally describe your item. The description I looked at doesn't say if it is watercolour, acrylic, oil, it doesn't mention that it is a stretched canvas on wood.

Your shop is incomplete, which will give it a lower shop "quality score".  Add shop sections that literally describe what you are selling.

The Announcement should be full of searchable "long tail keywords", not religious  proselytizing.

You are also missing your About section, which should literally describe your items, again with searchable keywords.

Re: Ads not working

As @ArtDollsbyJD mentioned SEO comes before ads. Think of the process like this - first you listing has to rank high enough in Etsy search to be seen, then ads come into play. While not absolutely technically correct and a bit simplistic, consider ads as a tie breaker between two listings that otherwise rank the same.
