Ads are not working properly. Not showing in search results.

Hi,

Today I woke up to see the message about a new test with increased ad budgets for free. I then checked my ad stats for today and noticed that my views and clicks are DRAMATICALLY lower than they normally would be at this time of day. I have normally spent at least $5 by now and I have spent less than $1 so far. I searched for one of my items and could not see any ads for my listing at all, I went through the first 10 pages of search results (the ad would usually be on page 1). I cannot find a single ad for any of my listings in the search results.

I tried to speak to support via Etsy chat but they do not understand my issue. I have opted out of the test now. I believe that my ads are hardly showing at all in the search results today. Yesterday I had nearly 2,000 views and nearly 30 clicks. Today I have had 28 views so far and 2 clicks (I don't even know how I have had 2 clicks, because as I said, I can't find a single ad for any of my listings).

Something is off! Anyone else having the same trouble?

Yes I have the same issue. Some of my listings normally chew through views and clicks but today there are no impressions at all. Ads seem to be broken.

Thanks! They wouldn't listen to me and kept giving me generic responses. The chat feature isn't working either because normally we can end the chat and speak to someone else? But the chat hasn't ended and I've messaged again and I'm getting no response.

Did opting out of the experiment solve the issue for you? If so…how do you do that?

No it didn’t solve it. At the top where it mentions the experiment (in the Ads section) - there’s an option to opt out.

Same issue here and chat was nothing but a bunch of idiots she's like I can see your listings right here here are screenshots I said yes that's my listings but there is absolutely no ads showing I said I normally have 8,000 views with ads a day and I only had 300 between midnight and 1:00 a.m. and not one single view since as anyone figured this out what should we do? I figured it had to do with the stupid test

Yes they were useless with me too, now they aren't even responding. This is so frustrating.

Yes I opted out hours ago, it's changed nothing but it does say I won't get the budget boost "after August 2nd".

I saw some people are saying their ad stats have shot up but mine still haven't moved. Still 28 views and 2 clicks. It's been that way for at least 7 hours.

My ad stats went up between 1 and 2 pm and looked like they started working. just to go back to zero again. I want etsy to pay for my ads.lol actually I think I deserve it after all this. Thats why i havent opted out yet. Ill give it a day and see if things get fixed. Also, if opting out doesnt change anything why even do it. keep me posted and let me know if your ads go back to normal tomorrow. if it goes back to normal for you and mine are still messed up then i will opt out.

The issue hasnt been resolved as ive noticed my ads have stopped working this morning

Mine is working now I think. I opted out of the test yesterday.

Mine started working again a couple of hours ago. 2 sales, views almost normal but more organic sales than usual. I’m still opted in.

Mine started working around 8pm last night until my budget was met. Im still opted in and nothing went over budget. Still working as of this morning. We will see how the day goes. Haven't heard anything back from Etsy yet.

I had more orders yesterday without ads than I have today with them working.

I had a good amount of orders come in later yesterday evening due to ads finally working again. Today ad seem to be working but it's an unusually slow day. Hopefully tomorrow the kinks will be sorted and it can be business as usual.

I thought i only hv the problem. suddenly my stat only 0 for yesterday and today. This never happen before
