I keep attempting to adjust my thumbnail and it's not saving. Safari User. Desktop. 1:00pm Eastern time.
This has been going on for a while and it's probably not going to get fixed. Etsy wants your photos to be square. A lot of my photos are taller than they are wide. I leave a wider margin on the bottom and top than I do the sides. Click on the pencil in your photo to be taken to the new way they want us to use, then on transform, to see the area you have to work with.
@santashauntedboot Your photos need to be square or 4:3. Vertical photos do not work with the thumbnail.
Vertical photos work fine as long as you leave space at the top and bottom. But the thumbnail tool does not work anymore. I finally gave up trying to use it. Etsy might as well get rid of it if they aren’t going to fix it.
I have the problem with primary photos that I have zoomed and now want to pull out. The are too close up. Does not save the change. I'm using Firefox on HP laptop. It will save it occasionally if I start from my shop page to edit. Tried changing the order of the photos saving that then going back to rearrange to the original primary photo not zoomed. The published thumbnail is zoomed like the one before I started trying to fix it.
I'm thinking of copying the listing and then not zooming the primary photo, publishing, then deleting the original listing.
this needs some attention badly!!!
