Ad Experiment- Ads not running??

Is anyone else in this experiment and seeing the same thing? I wonder if data just isn't queuing up because they're running a test. They said they would increase my ad budget (at no cost) on the 2nd. My chat is saying I saw a spike in views at midnight and then it flat lines. No funds spent.

The last time this happened it was still running in the background but data didn't show up until the next day. Looking at my shop I've had no ad sales today.

I‘m not even trying to contact them. Chat is not up to date on what tests are running and by the time I open a ticket and get a sensible reply this is over anyways.

Same here I usually easily sell $200 worth of product per day looking at my stats I've had 300 views between midnight and 1:00 a.m. and zero view since I've made sales but they are through pure organic searches usually between noon and 3:00 p.m. which is lunch time is my hot sale time and I have not made one sale this is ridiculous I am losing money because of this I heard that even opting out of it at this point will not fix the issue let me know if anyone has any updates I spoke with someone on chat and she kept saying that you can see my listings on Etsy and I said yes because I have several best sellers however none of my ads are showing up she forwarded it to someone else and I'm supposed to receive an email I'm just glad others are having this issue and that hopefully something will be done about it

Looks like my ads just started working. Money spent shot up from 1.80 to 6.00 and started getting favorite notifications from them. Check your stats let me know if yours are now working also?

@PNGVAULT  Mine jumped slightly up from 2.30 to 5.90 but this could also be from people in this thread clicking on our ads ( the ones that see them).

If you are in a test it is usually user based. I’m not seeing my own either but someone else here said they do.

Same is happening to me. Etsy chat was not helpful either.

Same for me, chatted with two agents and both said everything was fine. This is devastating to my sales today.

well if anyone gets a response from etsy let us know. if i knew this was gonna screw everything up for my sales i would have not opted out. heard that even opting out at this point doesnt change anything.

Yes! This is happening to me too! I usually have 10k plus views and I'm at 1k and they all came in between midnight and 1 am. Complete flatline after that. I have chatted with them and they said everything is fine on their end. My views are down 50% today and my sales are down 40% but I regularly spend $100 on ads per day. My budget is set at $100 and it's only spent $5.59! It's very frustrating.

There is something wrong with the numbers showing too. Earlier when I posted I was at 5.90 and now it shows 5.17. 

Hopefully this is gone by tomorrow and everything is back to normal.

This could backfire badly on Etsy. All those people affected by this figuring out they can still make sales without the ads.

I'm having the exact same issue!   I chatted up Support and was told it's being worked on by the Engineering Dept; that others are experiencing the same issue.  HOW LONG will it take?  It appears (actually) that it's not just the views/clicks that are flatlining, but that our listings are no longer indexed.    !!!    I was told I'd be emailed.   I'm freaking out.   ONE sale today only.  Views stopped completely, just like you, at midning/1:00AM, as well as clicks.    I DE-selected the offer to increase my budget "for free" because I thought maybe that might've caused this issue somehow.   Who knows?   All I know is, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PAY MY BILLS.   The hell?!

Don’t panic. Your store and listings are indexed. 

Where do they come up with this stuff? 

You can check yourself by going into your own store and typing a word that’s in your titles. If it comes up you’re indexed. I just checked in your shop. It’s fine.

@BlackMarketChicago  It has to do with the test we are in. Yes, I’m also concerned and hopefully they will fix this soon but for chat to tell you that your listings aren’t indexed is irresponsible of them. 

Chat knows nothing about any current tests running so I wouldn‘t give too much credit  to what they tell you anyways.

Honestly, if they are aware of it, acknowledging it, and working on it…well, I’m encouraged by that! Of course I want it fixed as quickly as possible. But knowing it’s on their radar is much more comforting than thinking they are blissfully ignorant!

same here, as soon as they put up the notice for the test, my ads are not showing and I am not getting any views

They also told me they'd increase and I see no increase. Very strange, too, as I spent the same $ on ads in June and July and, in July, my orders were cut in half. It took me (on average) 40 views to get an order, and now it's like 3-4x that and I have barely any orders. Wtf is Etsy doing...I wish I knew so I could at least adjust my own strategy.

Yeah, my ads results have tanked since the test. My ads are running again, but not performing. I normally get overall between 4 and 5 RAOS. And that’s not a fluke, that’s steady over a year and a half. Since the test, I’ve gotten 1.2. That means I’m barely making more than I’m spending. And since I sell a service, that means I’m almost working for free on the orders the ads bring in. 

I know it’s only been a couple of days, so I’m trying to be patient. But this is infuriating!
